    Use Your Flowers

    $ 25.00

    I'm often asked if I can use a customer's own flowers in my jewelry - and the answer is yes! Create a keepsake for bridal bouquets, anniversary flowers, memorials, or any flower that has special sentimental value.

    The cost is the regular price of the piece of jewelry plus $25. Please note that this listing is for the $25 custom fee, and must be purchased in addition to the piece of jewelry.
    ⭐︎⭐︎⭐︎⭐︎⭐︎⭐︎⭐︎ For custom orders of more than one piece of jewelry, this custom fee will be waived and there will be no additional charge for using your custom flowers. ⭐︎⭐︎⭐︎⭐︎⭐︎⭐︎⭐︎

    Here's how it works:

    (1) Your flowers need to be completely pressed or dried before you send them to me. Resin and moisture do not mix, and fresh flowers don't ship well through the mail - so you need to preserve them first.

    Here's a good tutorial on how to press flowers: http://www.wikihow.com/Press-Flowers

    Drying the flowers works too, and is often good for thicker flowers such as roses: http://www.wikihow.com/Dry-Flowers-for-Winter-Enjoyment. Silica gel (designed for drying flowers and available at craft stores) seems to work particularly well at preserving the colors of the dried flowers.

    (2) While your flowers are pressing or drying, get in touch with me to discuss your design. Send an email with a link to the type of jewelry you're considering, as well as what types of flowers you have, and we can discuss and make sure we have the best combination for you.

    (3) When you're ready to order, place a listing that has the style of the piece of jewelry you'd like in your cart, along with this listing for custom flowers.

    (4) I'll get in touch with my mailing address and you can mail me your flowers. They generally travel through the mail quite well if they're wrapped in tissue (or a paper towel) and put in a small box that is then padded with crumpled newspaper inside a slightly larger box.

    (5) That's it! I'll be in touch with turnaround times and any questions.

    Many people have used my jewelry to create a keepsake - for bridal bouquets, anniversary flowers, memorials, or any flower that has special sentimental value.
