This morning I genuinely wrote in my Panda Planner under “Daily Habit”, “pretend to be a successful businesswoman.” :)
This is my shorthand of the very good advice I got out of the book Atomic Habits by James Clear (which I loved, BTW) - sometimes you just need to figure out who you’re emulating, and then do whatever that person would do, and you’re highly likely to end up in the same place. So on days where my own inclination is to read a trashy novel and play with the dogs all day, my daily habit is… “pretend to be a successful businesswoman.” And then I answer my email and place supply orders, and make jewelry, and generally handle my business.
Sometimes a little bit of serious advice couched in whimsy goes a long way. How about it - any good books or advice I should check out for future inspiration?
